This step allows the user to unfasten bolt(s) for a specific number of degrees and at a specific speed. If the torque encountered during backout exceeds the step's High Torque limit the operation is halted and a fault declared.
The Backout step specific parameters are:
| Backout Angle | The number of degrees to backout. Angle measurement begins when the tool motor starts. |
| Backout Torque High Limit | If the torque measured during Backout equals or exceeds this value the step is halted and a fault declared. |
| Backout Speed | The tool is run at this speed while the Backout step is executed. Programmed in the Advanced Step Settings. |
