Understanding the LED & Audible Indicators for Yokota YZ-T(H) tools

The Yokota YZ-T(H) tools use a multi-color LED indicator and a loud audible indicator in various patterns to communicate the status of tightening, tool faults, and communication.  The following article is intended to explain the meanings of the various combinations.

The following errors can usually be remedied by either replacing the battery - or giving the tool some time recover.  Possibly a level of maintenance might be required.

The following errors are major system faults and tool repair is required. These are first indicated by a generic tool fault red light indication (see below), and then more detail is provided by using the pin to press the push button on the back of the tool (see below.
