What do customers need to know about our new BL2013 and BL2023 batteries?

Ingersoll Rand® launches the BL2013 and BL2023 Batteries – an improved battery that works seamlessly with our current IQV20 cordless impacts.

We are proud to deliver a product that maximizes our sustainability and minimizes our frequency of waste with our latest batteries. Due to global component shortages, recent purchases of our IQV20 tools have our newest batteries (BL2013 or BL2023) included in the kit. The BL2013 and BL2023 batteries series offer the same power, but provide more cycles per a charge thereby extending the time in between charges. Key Features and Benefits:

The BL2013 and BL2023 are compatible with tools that require a BL2012 or BL2022 battery, but as previously mentioned, the BL2013 and BL2023 batteries have double the number of charge cycles and subsequently the time in between charges is extended. In addition, the frequency of waste is reduced and the impact to the environment is minimized. To differentiate among the BL2012 or BL2022 and our latest batteries, the BL2013 and BL2023 feature a green sticker as shown in the picture above.

Warranty:

The BL2013 and BL2023 batteries come with a two-year manufacturing warranty. The warranty is the same as our other batteries in the IQV20 series.
