Troubleshooting
Clog / Obstruction Protection: To prevent permanent damage, the riveter is fitted with a clog/obstruction protection. If the riveter senses any internal parts are out of place or foreign material is potentially stuck inside, the tool will automatically stop and enter a lock out mode. When the trigger is pulled the riveter will not cycle and the front LED will blink continuously. If the battery is cycled the tool will attempt to initiate a cycle on the first trigger pull but the tool will immediately re-enter the shut down flashing the LED and will not change behavior after any number of additional trigger pulls. This is a good indication that the tool requires maintenance.
Maintenance
Preventive Maintenance: The tool should receive maintenance regardless of performance every 3000 cycles in order to clean and lubricate the jaw components. The main objective of this service is clean debris accumulation from the jaws, jaw pusher, and jaw housing assembly.
