Recommended Barcode Scanners for use with QCX and QCD controllers

Does Ingersoll Rand have a recommended Barcode Scanner for use with the QCX and QCD controllers?

All users of the QCX and QCD controllers.

Answer

The scanners listed below are fully compatible with our QCX and QCD controllers.

1. Symbol USB scanner:
   1. MIN- DS3508
2. Honeywell USB Barcode scanners:
   1. MS5145 LS USB
   2. Hyperion 1300g

Other Barcode Scanners:

•  If a different barcode scanner uses an HID interface, there is a possibility that it will work, but will require testing by the user.
• Any barcode scanner must be configured as a HID Keyboard to work with INSIGHTqc or INSIGHTqcx and must support a terminator in the scan type in order to function correctly.
