Prior to sending a tool for repair, the following guide can be used to troubleshoot root cause and/or possible remedies to common conditions. If you unable to remedy the issue using the following actions, or if something other than what is described below occurs - stop using the tool immediately and contact your local repair center for service assistance.
Issue | Cause(s) | Recommended Action(s) |
The tool does not operate | The motor is overheated | Wait until the motor cools and the LED goes off. Resume operation. |
The battery pack is over-discharged. The battery voltage is below a certain level and the protective function has been activated. | Charge the battery pack. Note: If this condition occurs, please be sure to fully charge the battery. If the charging level is not sufficient, the protective function may not be released. | |
Low voltage error is indicated | Replace the battery pack Note: This occurs when the battery pack performance has degraded to a point where the battery is no longer usable. | |
The tool is in a setting mode | If the tool is in the setting mode with the setting device (PC-1) connected, detach the battery pack and disconnect the setting device. Resume operation. | |

Contact your local authorized service center for repair. **If the tool is being used in extremely low temperatures, wire breakage error of motor or driver temperature sensor and motor lock error may be output. If this is the case, confirm normal tool operation at proper ambient temperatures. |

When releasing the trigger during no-load rotation, there is a stop sound from the motor | It is the operating sound of the brake when stopping the motor | No error, this is expected and operation should be continued. |
Overheat alarm occurs frequently | There is too much load on the tool | Optimize programming to minimize heat rise. If still experiencing trouble, use a larger tool and/or create more time in between tightenings. |
The integrated cooling fan is broken | Contact your local authorized service center for repair. | |
The battery loses its charge very quickly, even after a full charge

It is the end of life of the battery pack | Replace the battery pack. |
The indicator lamp on the battery charger is not illuminated when plugged in and battery is inserted. |
Dust adheres to the terminals of the battery charger and the battery pack, preventing a good connection | Clean the terminals after unplugging the power supply. |
