Routine cleaning helps maintain reliable operation and reduce rivet feeding and gripping problems caused by metal filings and debris.

Cleaning frequency depends on factors such as:

• Rivet material
• Rivet size
• Installation volume

For high-volume applications, clean the jaw pusher, jaws, and jaw housing approximately every 2,000–3,000 rivet installations.
