This release covers software versions 100.1.7.49 for INSIGHTqcx™ and 300.0.2.49 for INSIGHTqcx™ (integrated DIO) Cordless Controllers. It includes the supported tool versions, new features, enhancements, and upgrade instructions.
Important: Please upgrade both the tool and controller to the latest versions outlined below.

- Enhanced stability of controller‑to‑PFOP protocol communication in multi‑tool setups.
- Enabled quick job selection on the tool (via MES) after wake‑up.
- Resolved tool freeze related to Wireless Energy Scan.
- Streamlined batch count handling for failed cycles on RTS tools.
- Fixed RTS firmware upgrade error from the controller interface.
- Resolved EOR (End of Rundown) status and results output issues to MES.
- Optimized delay behavior between two EOR transmissions.
- Fixed command error during barcode downloads via MID0050 on PFOP protocol.
Known Issues
Recommendation: Download logs or results via the remote UI. Downloading via local USB on the controller may take longer or fail in some cases.
Upgrade Instructions
Controller Firmware Update
From QCX version 2.x.x: Perform USB Image Update to 100.1.5.10, then update to 100.1.7.49.
From QCX controller version 100.x.x.x: Copy .irb file from SendSafely to PC or USB.
From QCX (integrated DIO) controller version 300.0.1.1: USB Image Update to 300.0.2.28, then update to 300.0.2.49.
Other internal DIO versions: Use .irb file for 300.0.2.49.

Tool Firmware Update
QX / QX Connect:
RTS tools:
- To update using a controller: connect the tool to the updated controller via USB and follow on‑screen prompts.
- If updating from a version earlier than 4.3, recalibrate the tool on the application after the update to ensure proper behavior.
- This release includes updated algorithms to enhance performance of RTS025, RTS060, and RTS140. Perform verification on the application after updating.
