Release Information
This release covers software versions 100.1.8.11 for INSIGHTqcx™ and 300.0.3.32 for INSIGHTqcx™ (integrated DIO) Cordless Controllers. It includes supported tool versions, new features, enhancements, and upgrade instructions.
Important: Please upgrade both the tool and controller to the latest versions outlined below.

Enhancements and Fixes
- QX Wi‑Fi6 Tool Support: Enabled support for tools on the newly launched QX‑Wi‑Fi6 platform.
- Radio Tool Communication Logs: Added logging capability for radio tool communications to improve traceability and diagnostics.
- External Radio: Improved system accuracy by addressing incorrect external radio binary configurations.
- Cycle Result Screen: Resolved blank page issue on cycle result screen.
- ToolsNet Server Connectivity: Eliminated intermittent disconnection issues with ToolsNet server.
- Rundown Angle Transfer to MES (PFOP): Fixed issue preventing rundown angle values from reaching MES.
- PFOP Grey Icon Display: Corrected icon display issues after controller power cycles in static IP mode.
- Invalid Barcode Handling: Improved job selection logic after scanning invalid barcode strings.
- UI Behavior: Removed persistent “Please wait” messages and blank accessory assignment screens.
- Controller Session Handling: Fixed unexpected logout events and brief blank screen occurrences.
- USB Mode System Fault: Resolved fault triggered when tools were connected via USB.
Known Issues
- Tool Firmware Update Failure: Firmware updates may occasionally fail with an error. Retrying typically resolves the issue.
- Radio Log Download Error: Attempting to download radio logs may result in an error message.
Upgrade Instructions
Controller Firmware Update
From QCX version 2.x.x: Perform USB Image Update to 100.1.5.10, then update to 100.1.8.11.
From QCX controller version 100.x.x.x: Copy .irb file from SendSafely to PC or USB.
From QCX with internal DIO version 300.0.1.1: USB Image Update to 300.0.2.28, then update to 300.0.3.32.
Other internal DIO versions: Use .irb file for 300.0.3.32.

Tool Firmware Update
QX / QX Connect:
RTS tools:
- To update using a controller: connect the tool to the updated controller via USB and follow on‑screen prompts.
- If updating from a version earlier than 4.3, recalibrate the tool on the application after the update to ensure proper behavior.
- This release includes updated algorithms to enhance performance of RTS025, RTS060, and RTS140. Perform verification on the application after updating.
