2. New Features and Enhancements
New Features
- Smart Torque Arms: Introduced the Smart Torque Arms module with encoder-based guidance to assist operators in screw positioning. Available on the IQI Controller
- Operator Guidance on Remote Browser: Added Operator Guidance capability with image upload and screw pattern guidance for enhanced visual instructions. This is available only on the Remote Browser.
-
Tare Torque Compensation: Added Tare Torque Compensation. When enabled, the Target Torque is adjusted by adding the Average Prevailing Torque. The resulting target torque is validated against the High Torque Limit, and an error is generated if the limit is exceeded.
Note: Available only when the final tightening step uses Torque Control. - PFOP MID: Added support for MID 2500/2501 Rev 2 messaging.
Enhancements
- Special Characters on Job/PSET Name: Only “_” and “-” are supported as special characters in Job/PSET names. Use of “.” may result in inconsistent parsing of PFOP data and should be avoided.
- Job ID Arrangement: Jobs can now be rearranged on the Jobs Screen on the Remote Browser.
- PFOP MID0076: Corrected issue where MID0076 alarm status was not set properly. Alarm status is now correctly set to 1 when an alarm occurs
- AC ToolsNet: After reboot, if ACTools Net is disabled, the PIM (Protocol Interface Module) server defaults to 192.168.4.1.
- Duplicate PSET Names not allowed: Optimized the Copy PSET functionality to ensure new names do not exceed 40 characters and are unique (no duplicates allowed).
- Motor Optimization for IQI4 Series: Introduced a one-time motor tuning procedure to optimize tool performance. Primarily applicable for 5 Nm, 10 Nm, and 15 Nm tools. (This is Must for all IQI4 Tools)
- Controller UI Freezing Issues Fixed: Resolved intermittent UI freezing issues that caused the bottom menu to become unresponsive.
- Translations Fixed: Fixed incorrect translations in exported CSV files.
