Meet the 2955B2

The 2955B2 is a 1½-inch square-drive air impact wrench capable of delivering up to 4,500 ft-lb (6,100 Nm) of maximum torque.

Its cold-forged twin-hammer impact mechanism and six-vane motor are designed to deliver high torque while supporting durability in demanding applications.

Air Supply Requirements

The 2955B2 requires an air system capable of supporting a large pneumatic impact wrench.

Before using the tool, make sure you have:

• 1/2-inch NPT fitting
• Minimum 3/4-inch air hose
• 90 psi operating air pressure
• An air supply capable of providing the required airflow

Insufficient airflow or pressure can reduce tool performance even when the compressor itself is operating normally.

Maintaining the 2955 Series

Regular lubrication is important to the performance and service life of the 2955B2.

The tool requires:

• 8–12 drops of IR #10 Air Tool Oil through the air inlet before each use
• Impact-mechanism lubrication according to the required operating interval

Note: The maintenance interval is based on actual tool runtime, not simply elapsed calendar time.
